What is Mimo?
At Mimo, we aim to revolutionise business payments and cash flow management for SMEs and Accountants & Bookkeepers. Our platform offers effortless business payments with built-in credit, providing a cost-effective, unified payment solution. Mimo makes managing Money-In and Money-Out seamless, with control of cash flow.
We are a growing team of +20 dedicated professionals and are excited to expand our sales team for the SME ecosystem in the UK. We’re only 24 months old but have secured funding from leading angels and top institutional investors.
Role Overview:
We now seek a dynamic Account Executive to ramp up our sales efforts in the UK. While you will be selling an all-in-one platform, cash flow and our Mimo Flex credit product will be core to many SMEs. Many of our clients are also importing goods and services in other currencies.
This is a pivotal role where you will get the opportunity to accelerate our growth by both identifying and signing customers. You will be crucial to boost growth and establish Mimo as the trusted partner in the ecosystem for everything business payments and built-in financing, helping SMEs manage their cash flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect potential leads and identify potential customers.
- Generate a quality pipeline of prospective customers through LinkedIn, email, outbound calls and marketing activity
- Conduct product demos and in-depth needs analysis to understand customer requirements and potential cash flow needs
- Join the commercial team to represent Mimo at industry events across the UK
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and pipeline progress in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop targeted strategies and proposals.
- Provide market feedback and insights to continue shaping our product offering.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
Your Path:
In this role, you'll gain a deep understanding of how SMEs can tackle their cash flow challenge and the different financing solutions available. You will become an expert at packaging the Mimo built-in financing experience into the every day of finance teams.
This role will also give broad exposure to our credit team, marketing, customer success and customer support, but also client onboarding & compliance. You will get to collaborate with a dedicated team from each function to broaden your commercial skillset.
Requirements:
- +2 years of experience in a commercial team, preferably in a B2B software environment.
- Proven track record of success in a high-performance environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Passionate about software/fintech and eager to contribute to a growing company.
- Familiarity with selling financial products is a big plus.
